Nintendo 64

Game Reviews, Tips, and Hints!

About the System

The Nintendo 64 game system features real-time rendering of 64-bit graphics and sounds at 93.75MHZ (CD quality)

The controller has 14 buttons, a 360 degree Control Stick(like a yoke), a Control Pad, and a trigger. These allow complete control and accuracy through the games and with accessories like the N64 Controller and Rumble Packs, the game becomes more real to the player!

The Nintendo 64 system also features over 200 different games of varying types like action, role-playing games, puzzles, and adventure. I personally have never come across any bugs or errors in the games. Since they're cartridges, they let you save your games into the cartridge so the purchase of memory cards are only required on a few games to save your position or preferences!

The Game Reviews

1080 Snowboarding

Zelda: Orcarina of Time

Wave Race 64

Super Smash Brothers

As a general review for all the N64 games, I've found them all to be quick and realtime, only experiencing one slow frame rate, which was when I was playing 007 and loaded a room with 72 proxies, got a safe distance away, and blew one up with a gun to start the largest chain reaction and most spectacular explosion I ever saw. The games are challenging, but they aren't a cinch either. The sound quality is great with the 3D graphics to back it up. Controls are easy to learn and tough to master, and most games have a plot, unless they're a sports game, such as Mario Tennis. All in all, they're very well developed and no matter what new technologies come out, they're still fun!

I know there aren't many reviews here, but hopefully they'll help aid in trouble spots or decisions!
