Here's the specks for the GameCube: It runs at 485MHz with a separate graphics processor running at 162Mhx.
It has 24-bit color, 81MHz sound and can run 64 different souns at once. It can do up to 12 million polygons per second, which is an incredible amount.
It has 40 MB of system memory and 24 MB of main memory. The discs are 3 inches and store 1.5 GB of data (that's more than one of my laptops).
Information travel incredibly fast whether from the controller, the disc, RAM, processor, whater.
There are two memory card slots and four controller slots. It's dimensions are 4.3 x 5.9 x 6.3 inches.
I Love it!
As a general review for all the GameCube games, I've found them all superb! I have more than eleven
different games and I like all of them wonderfully. The graphics and sound quality beats out all the rest, and
sometimes I've found the Star Wars games to look more realistic than the movies themselves. The gameplay on all
of them is wonderful with control over everything, which does make it more difficult to learn, but give a game
a half hour and once your used to the controls, it's as easy as pie (Then the game gets significantly harder!).
I know there aren't many reviews here, but hopefully I'll be able to spend some time on it to get them out there! School comes first... sadly even in the summer.
